Summary

Join us for a late-summer kayak on the Nashua River.  It's Friday the 13th, but unfortunately Camp Crystal Lake is a little too far away.  :)

We will meet at Petapawag Canoe Launch in Groton, MA.   We'll pass the Nashua River Islands on our left, J. Harry Rich State Forest on our right, and eventually paddle parallel to the Nashua River Rail Trail.   Sunset is at 7 pm, so we will aim to get out of the water around then or a little after.

Please note that rental kayaks are unavailable, so bring your own or come with someone who can loan you one! Also, please remember your life jacket.  Life jackets are required in MA when kayaking starting in mid-September.

This is a great way to start the weekend.  I hope you can join us!
