With threats to the gay community accelerating, groups like us are more important than ever. By becoming a sustaining member we will be much stronger - together - transforming lives, building a community, and promoting visibility through outdoor recreation for gay and gay friendly men. Many members support us because it's the right thing to do...they want us to continue to do what we are doing for the gay community. A Sustaining Membership goes directly to:

• FREE ADVENTURES - Your support helps recruit, train and mobilize members to post adventures in our goal to improve the mind, body and spirit of our members through outdoor recreation. We offer over 100 activities every year.
• Contact/Email Members - Your support allows you to email and contact other members.
• Trail Maintenance - You help us supply us with the trail maintenance tools we need to maintain our adopted trails.
• Outdoorzy Gay Commmunity - Your support provides an accessible, safety-conscious, outdoorzy community for gay and gay friendly men. You help us pay for website hosting and PayPal membership processing fees, email newsletter publication and future improvements to our website.
• Sustaining Members Social Events - We host social events throughout New England. Some are free to sustaining members and open to everyone else with a small fee. These are great whether you are curious about us or you're eager to see the friends you made on a GayOutdoors Adventure!
• Skill Building - Your support provides opportunities for teaching, learning, sharing, and skill-building for gay and gay friendly men. We provide beginner workshops to include hiking, backpacking, winter hiking, map & compass, cross-country skiing, trip leading and more.

GayOutdoors has no paid staff - your entire membership is used to support our projects, programs and website.
