Summary

Headed to P-Town and Truro to spend a couple days exploring popular as well as secluded beaches.  Can’t make both days, feel free to attend one or the other.  Our adventure begins on Saturday and we will meet at 10:00 am on the far end of the Herring Cove public beach parking by the vault toilets, the lot is located on route 6.  Once gathered, we will walk the mile or so walk to the “Boy Beach” and spend the day.  Plan to leave the beach around 4pm arriving back at the parking lot around 5:00pm.  On Sunday we meet at 9:00am at Ballston Beach in Truro at the end of North Pamet Road.  Once gathered, we will walk 2 miles along the secluded seashore to Longnook Beach where we will spend the day.  Plan to leave the beach around 3:00 pm arriving back at the cars around 4:00pm – 4:30pm.  Anyone wanting to spend Saturday night in the area, there are rooms available at the Hi Hostel in Truro which is located only steps away from Ballston Beach.  Beds are available for $58.00 a night (bunk beds in dorm style rooms).  There is no public parking at Ballston Beach, but we can leave our cars at the hostel on Sunday while we are at the beach.  For those not staying over and who wish to participate on Sunday, you would need to park at the public parking lot at Head of the Meadow Beach on route 6 in Truro and I would pick you up at 8:30am.  I will be staying over at the hostel and have reservations for dinner Saturday evening at 7:00pm at a local restaurant if anyone would like to join me.  After dinner we could venture to P-Town for the night for some libations and entertainment, or whatever the group may decide.  Please message/email me with any questions.  Bring lots of water, food for lunches, sunscreen, etc.
