Join us for a 2.5 mile hike each way on the Fauver Link Trail to a great viewpoint (Pike's Peak) with a great view just before the true summit of Plymouth Mountain. Total of 5
From the south end of Main Street in downtown Plymouth (US-3/NH-25) near Rite Air, take Warren Street for 0.2 miles to a four way intersection. Drive straight through (slight jog to the right) and proceed on Texas Hill Road for 2.3 miles. Turn right on Old Hebron Road (gravel) at a large and obvious boulder where Texas Hill Road curves sharply to the left. In 0.2 miles the parking lot and trailhead is on the left. If using GPS, you can just enter Fauver Link Trail in Plymouth.
We had a great hike up the Fauver Link Trail to Pike's Peak and Plymouth Mountain. It was a beautiful day with highs in the mid 50s. We used microspikes due to snow and ice, but the microspikes made for easy walking. We had lunch at Pike's Peak, which is 2 miles from the start, and has great views. We then decided to continue to the actual summit of Plymouth Mountain, which doesn't have a view, but it was good to make it to the actual summit. It was a great day for a hike on a less used trail, with nice walking, views, and great conversation (physically distanced between the 2 couples of course).
