We will meet at my house since it has easy access to the trail from the property. I will E-mail directions to all attendees a few days before the event.
It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday….well, not pretty, but there were many of us. We met at my house and picked up the trail from there. We walked a wooded path for about 5 minutes until we reached the water. From there most of the trail ran along the Back River. It was an easy trail to hike that provided an opportunity for great friends to catch up with each other’s life events. The trail lead to an open field where we enjoyed the sunlight. We only walked the first 2 mile loop. Three of our members stayed behind at my house instead of walking the trail with us. As the host with the most, I did not want to keep them waiting for too long. Back at the house we enjoyed eggnog, my delicious hot chocolate (recipe=ancient chinese secret) and Mo’s tasty cookies. The eggnog was rum free and the cookies marijuana-free, but despite the party being so wholesome that it would make June Cleaver vomit, we all still had a great time, sharing many laughs and great conversation!
