We had a rainy start but otherwise it was a perfect day to be on the Pemi. It's July, so the water level was low enough to give us a number of butt massages along the way. Despite the holiday, we had stretches of the river all to ourselves.

After the kayak we met at the Mad River Tavern for a hearty lunch. A very nice day on the river!

GO unfortunately limits photos to 500 pixels...I recommend that you view my full-size images instead, here: photos.winnick.net/gallery/17870002_VknL3N
