SUMMARY: Join GayOutdoors for a day of history and natural beauty. We will be starting the day at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. The museum pays homage to the 35th president and offers a glimpse into his life and legacy. The cost is $18 for adult admission, but you get a 50% discount if you present a physical or digital Massachusetts library card! We will have lunch at the museum café, then drive to Castle Island for a 2.2-mile walk around Fort Independence and the causeway around Pleasure Bay. This easy walk offers excellent views of Boston Harbor and Dorchester Bay. Parking at the museum and Castle Island is free. I hope you can join us! |
