A special presentation for Capital Gay Men (CGM) in Concord. The event is free and everyone is welcome!
GayOutdoors (GO) is such a source of pride and excitement for NH gay men and guys in neighboring states. So Capital Gay Men (CGM) has invited Mike Boisvert [GO President] and Jon Normand [GO Treasurer] to speak to the group. On Friday, April 9, join Mike, Jon and CGM who will introduce you to the club, share a slide show of their 2009-2010 trips including their 105 mile backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail across Shenandoah National Park, talk about upcoming events including its GetFit hikes starting in May, and finish off with a Q&A session dispensing outdoor gear/clothing advice to anyone attending. Cure cabin fever by joining us to enjoy outdoor photos, get outdoor advice and make new buddies in a safe, comfortable atmosphere.
For over 10 years, GO has provided hundreds of free outdoor activities, got guys involved with outdoor activities and helped outdoorzy guys meet each other. We have chosen breathtaking photographs from recent GO trips in 2009-2010.
The evening kicks of at 7:30 PM with the business portion of CGM. The program begins at 8:00 PM.
Don't miss this chance to learn more about GO and CGM! This event is free and everyone is welcome.
Below is a map which shows you roughly where we are. For specific directions, read on...we meet at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Concord. Take Rte 9 west out of town (Pleasant Street), and go past Concord Hospital on the right. At the next light, you'll see the Concord Orthopaedics building on the right. Immediately past their driveway is another driveway, with a small sign that says "Enter". This is the driveway for the UU Church. Park in back, enter through the side door, and walk down the hallway, passing through 2 sets of double doors on your left until you see the CGM sign outside our classroom.
